Picture setting off amidst the backdrop of the iconic skyline of San Francisco, passing under the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge and rowing away from the carnival atmosphere of the race village and out into the world's largest ocean. Over the first few days you'll be rowing through one of the countries largest national marine sanctuaries teaming with rich marine life and then off into thousands of miles of open water until the shores of O'ahu and the Hawaiian beaches of Waikiki.
