Team of Ten skippered by Livar Nysted have completed their row from Thurso, Scotland to Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, a distance of 260 miles (420 km)(226 nautical miles) on board Avalon to become the first team to row along this route as part of the expedition Scotland - Faroes - Scotland. The second leg of the expedition will be the return route from Tórshavn to Thurso. This will be led by Leven Brown with a mixed team. |
