LONE ROWER SETS OUT

LONE ROWER SETS OUT:
These pictures were taken as the Swedish born naturalised New Zealand adventurer, 43-year -old Mr Anders Svedlund, set out from Fremantle, Western Australia, last week at the start of his 5000-mile marathon rowing journey across the Indian Ocean to Africa. Svedlund, who is making the voyage in a 21-foot fibreglass boat, was last reported to be rowing strongly 50 miles north-west of Fremantle. Last year he failed in an attempt on the 15000-mile crossing of Tasman from Onehunga to Sydney
