I just wanted to take a minute and say that I think you are a very brave woman! It takes a lot of courage and self-confidence to do what you are doing, and I am extremely impressed. I hope the last 1/3 of your voyage is even better than the first 2/3. I do have one question. Aren't August and September considered hurricane season? If so, is there a reason you chose those months to travel?
May God bless and keep you. Keep rowing!!

Tori,
My name is Marcia, a fellow attorney from Lousville. I brought you to
speak before the WLA a few years back. At that point you awed us with
you strenght! This journey is just another example of you internal and
external strenght. I have been following your journey daily. The
Louisville community is behind you and cannot wait for you to return.
In advance, and in great anticipation of your goal, I hope you will
return to one of our meetings and share this great story. You can do
it! See you on shore! marcia seiler

Dear Tori,
I am a brother-in-law to Carlton Lowe (a fellow worker in your office in
Louisville). He told me of your current adventure, but have just this morning
read the latest in the Courier Journal (I live in Bloomington, IN). I admire
the planning and preparation you have made for this trip, but most of all your
courage. Although this is not something I would ever consider for myself,
being more interested in the weather that you have experienced on your trip
(having served as a meteorologist in the Air Force), I hope that you will
include these kinds of details in a book which I hope will be available in the
near future.
Best of luck to you now on your last third of your trip.
Sincerely,
Don Lewis (djlewisind@juno.com)

Tori -You and I are the same age and we both grew up in Louisville. I went to KCD. If you played Field Hockey, then we probably duked it out on the turf a couple of times. Your brother lives two doors down from me on Wendover Avenue.I have been a follower of your progress and my company even sponsored your first attempt in the race to cross the Atlantic. You are a courageous, tenancious, and valiant woman and I admire you for your continued pursuit of your goal. I have to admit, sitting here behind my desk pushing paperwork, that I am living vicariously through you and your adventurous spirit.Suffice it to say that I admire you tremendously and wish you the best of luck! tonight and tomorrow are praying for you, rubbing their rosaries for you,
burning candles and incense for you, dancing to the sky for you and
building more dream catchers for you.   Why the entire world is interceding
on your behalf during this time as Danielle bears down on you.  I hope you

Subject: Tori needs all our thoughts, prayers & vibes to see this thru
Tori - Saturday night, August 30, I dreamed that you called me on the phone
(in my dream I could see that you were on the other end of the wire in your
pajamas and your baseball cap).  You said "Turn your computer on!  You have
something on your hard drive that I must have to get to shore!  Keep your
computer on!"  Since we are all too aware of the sat phone woes, I take this
dream to mean that right now, as you near the finish, you need us ALL to be
thinking of you and praying for you constantly.  What we have on our hard
drive for you is our "vibes" pushing you toward your goal, giving you a lift
every time the ocean seems to push you back.  Well, my dear, you have all our
thoughts and prayers and vibes.  And YOU WILL DO IT.  I KNOW IT.
